Frank "Red" Lloyd Saine, 83, passed peacefully Friday, August 12, 2016 at Hospice Home. Born in Peru, he was the son of the late Melvin L. Saine and Ruth L. (Sampson) Saine. Frank served his county in the Navy. He retired from International Harvester after 30 years of service. Frank was a member of The Chapel and was a member of Sherman Street Church of God.

He is survived by his devoted wife of 60 years, Hedwig (Gust) Saine of Fort Wayne; daughter, Nancy (David) Joest of Fort Wayne; brothers, Gene and Ralph; sister, Sue Knepper; 2 grandchildren, Andrew (Emily Sims) Marschand and Katherine (Nicholas) Underwood; and 4 great grandchildren, Aidan, Alix, Anna and Vincent.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Officiating will be Gary Endersby. Calling is also 3-7 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to The Chapel or Visiting Nurse.
