Fred Osborne, 83, died, Saturday, May 12, 2018.  he was born in Bell County, Kentucky, son to the late Clarence and Catherine Osborne.  He retired from Dana after 36 years of service as a process engineer.  Fred was member of North Ridge Baptist Church.  He was an avid golfer and loved spending time with his family.

Fred is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Edna M. (Pope) Osborne; son, Larry (Shelley Alford) Osborne; brothers, Harvey (Sue) Osborne, Basil (the late, Nancy) Osborne, and Ernest (Marla) Osborne; grandchildren, Shawn (Aimee) Osborne, Gregory (Breaun) Osborne, Jeffrey Osborne, Aaron (Tanya) Hampshire, Chad Hampshire, Jessica Osborne and Joseph (Thian) Osborne; great grandchildren, Halli, Roegan, Ross, Aaliyah, Aniyah, Jared and Damien; and several nieces and nephews.

Fred was preceded in death by daughter, Donna Hampshire; son, Mitchell Osborne; and sisters, Ella Christlieb and Edna Marcum.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior.  Officiating will be Pastor Gary Green.  He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens.  In lieu of flowers preferred memorials are to Cancer Society or Alzheimer's Association.
