Frederick N. Daniels, age 85 of Fort Wayne, IN, passed away on Friday September 2, 2022, at Hamilton Place, Fort Wayne.  Born on April 2, 1937, in Redkey, IN, he was the son of Frederick C. and Treva (Hinsey) Daniels. Frederick attended Huntertown High School and graduated with the Class of 1955. He then proudly served his country in the United States Army. Frederick worked as a chemist at Slater Steel for over 36 years until his retirement.  He was a member of the American Legion Post. His survivors include his daughters Rebecca (Thomas) Neuhaus of Fort Wayne and Pamela (Scott) Kipfer of Spencerville; 8 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Brian Daniels; one brother; and three sisters. Funeral services for Frederick will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, September 12, 2022, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd, Fort Wayne, IN 46808, with visitation one hour prior. Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
