Gary L. Smith, 64, of Fort Wayne, Indiana passed away Friday, August 27, 2021.  He was born December 16, 1956 in Newton, New Jersey to the late Gerald and Violet (Elston) Smith.

Gary proudly served in the United States Army for six years.  He went on to become a security guard.  He was married to his beloved wife, Sandra, until her passing in 2012.  Together they raised a daughter, Katie.  Gary was passionate about hunting, fishing and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.  Above all, he loved his family and will be missed by everyone.

Gary will be forever remembered by his daughter, Katie (Robert) Ayienda; grandchildren, Robert and Sandra; and three great grandchildren.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald and Violet; and his love, Sandra.

A memorial service will be announced for a time as yet to be determined.
