Gary Alan York, 59, died Saturday January 14, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. Born December 7, 1952 in Ft. Wayne, IN to Albert James York who survives and the late Beverly Ann York. Gary worked 28 years as a driver for UPS. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam Conflict era. Surviving is his wife, Janet York, Ft. Wayne, children, Jason Alan York, Missouri, Cassie Lynn York-Kadel, Ft. Wayne, IN, Matthew (Pepsi) Harriman, Washington State, brother, Randall James York, Hamilton, IN, sister Cindy Lipp, Knoxville, TN, 3 grandchildren, Trinity, Piper and Ashley. Services are 2:00 p.m. Friday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. There will also be viewing Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 at the funeral home.
