Geana Marie Treace 68, passed away, Friday, April 24, 2026, at her home in Fort Wayne. She was born on March 4, 1958, in Wheeling, West Virginia. Throughout her life, Geana found joy in many simple pleasures. She loved music and dancing, and enjoyed gatherings filled with cookouts and friendly games of horseshoes, lawn darts, euchre, and marbles. Exploring thrift stores, garage sales, and antiquing brought her happiness and many fond memories.
One of Geana’s favorite foods was upside down pineapple cake, a treat she cherished. She also had a passion for traveling, especially when it meant visiting her family, whom she held very close to her heart. Her children and grandchildren were the center of her world and meant everything to her.
Geana leaves behind her daughters, Rhonda Clouser, partner Kevin, and Candy Treace. She also has six loving grandchildren: Jeremiah, Terry, Austin, Elizabeth, Haley, and Brittany and ten great-grandchildren. Geana is also survived by her brothers, George Felix and Raymond Richmond, as well as her sisters Roberta Bultemeier, Connie Moore, and Lisa Felix.
Geana was preceded in death by her father, George Felix, mother, Doris Richmond and stepdad, Ray Richmond; two brothers, Mark Richmond and Russell Richmond, and her brother-in-law Chad Bultemeier.
Geana’s life was full of warmth, fun, and family love. She often said, “It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later,” a reminder of the lasting bonds she shared with those who loved her. She will be remembered with fondness and affection by all who knew her.
In keeping with her wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. She will be laid to rest in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
