Gene Wesley Eby, 83, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday April 8, 2007 at Hospice Home. Born February 23, 1924 in Fort Wayne, he was an Army Air Corp WWII veteran, a member of The Chapel and worked for Hall''s Restaurants for 30 years. He is survived by his wife, Alice Eby of Fort Wayne; sons, Rick (Kimberly) Eby of Fort Wayne and Dennis Eby of Houston, TX; daughters, Pam (Tom) Atwater of Atlanta, GA and Lori Hunt of Fort Wayne; a brother, Marshall Eby of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Daniel Hunt, Weston Hunt, Kristofer (Janet) Eby, Krystal Eby, Koradon Eby and Kirsten Eby. He was preceded in death by a brother John Eby and a sister, Frances Brundige. Service 11 a.m. Wednesday with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd.
