George F. Gill, 83, died Saturday August 27, 2011 at Parkview North Hospital. Born November 15, 1927 in Huntington County, IN, to the late Edward and Anna Gill. George retired after 30 years from R&A Plumbing. He also worked for Holy Cross Lutheran Church 13 years, and Azars Corporation for 7 years. He was a member of St. Vincent Catholic Church. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. Surviving are his wife Sharlene (Limecooly) Gill, Ft. Wayne, IN children, Scott (Shelly) Gill, O''Fallon, MO, Andrew (Amy) Gill, Phoenix, AZ, grandchildren, Melanie, Abby, Isaiah, Aidan, brother, James Gill, sister, JeanAnn Kalinowski. He was preceded in death by two brothers Paul and John Gill. Services are 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is also calling Wednesday August 31, 2011, 2-4 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
