George Folkner, 62, passed away on October 10, 2023, in Fort Wayne, IN.

He was born in Columbia City, IN on June 19, 1961, a son of the late George Folkner Sr. and Peggy Folkner.

George was a collector of knives and did leather work in his spare time as well as wood whittling. He enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing and shooting, and was also a history buff. He will be remembered for his love of Christmas, and being a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa.

Surviving are his wife of 27 years, Tammy Folkner; children, Amber (Adam) Williams, Derek Folkner and Hannalora Folkner; grandchildren, Andrew Folkner and Blaine Thurber; sisters, Regina Conley and Nanette (Tony) Giesige.

He was preceded in death by sister, Daphne Folkner and brother-in-law Luke Conley.
