George Shaw, 78, of Port Charlotte, Florida, passed away, May, 21, 2021. Born in Arcola, Indiana, he was a son to Robert and Mary Shaw. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. He worked for Townhouse retirement community for many years.  George played the steel guitar and enjoyed playing music. He was an avid NASCAR and Ft. Wayne Komets hockey fan.

He   is survived by his sons, Ed (Dianne) Shaw and David (OK) Shaw, five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, sister, Donna Schenk and step-mom, Anita Shaw.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Shaw,  wife, Juanita Shaw,  daughter, Mary Beth Shaw and brother, Charles Shaw.

Memorial service is 11:00 a.m.  Saturday,   June, 5, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, He will be inurned at Covington Memorial Gardens.
