Gerald Donald Carr, 90, of Middle Burg Heights, Ohio, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, Mach 14, 2013 at South West General Hospital. Born in Angola, he was the only child of the late Wiley H. Carr and Mabel C. (Mains) Carr. He served his country in the Army during WWII and retired from Zollner Corp. He was a member of North Park Community Church.

He is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Darryl) Toms of Germantown, Maryland, Deborah (Danny) Workman of Bartlesville, Oklahoma and Jeanne (Anthony) Hurless of Strongsville, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 64 years, Barington Elmyra Carr, in 2008.

Funeral service is Noon, Saturday, March 23, 2013 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations can be made to the Alzheimer''s Association to honor and remember his beloved wife.
