Gerald Swanson, 73 of Ft. Wayne, passed away Thursday at his home. He had worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad for 37 years and was a member of Statewood Baptist Church. Gerald is survived by his wife Marilyn; son David (Melonie) Swanson; daughter Kathy (Rick) Ziegler; grandchildren Joshua Ziegler, Jason (Michelle) Ziegler, April (David) Clayton, and Brittany Swanson. He is preceded in death by his brother Robert Swanson. Funeral service will be 10:00a.m.Saturday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd with calling one hour prior.
