Geraldine Walker, 87, died, June 26, 2010 at Miller''s Merry Manor with her family at her side. She was born in Fort Wayne, daughter to the late William and Edith Roebel. She attended the Church of the Brethren and was a homemaker. She is survived by her sons, Steve (Marty) Walker of Fort Wayne and Larry Walker of Garrett; four grandchildren, Angela Coffing, Carrie Widmeyer, Keith and Tom Walker; and 11 great grandchildren, Sam and Max Walker, Destiny and Daphney Walker, Autumn and Bailey Coffing, Taylor, Madison and Skylar Davis, Alexander and Noah Widmeyer, . She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Marvin L. Walker, in 1998; a daughter, Joyce Walker; two brothers; and two sisters. Services are 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 30, 2010 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also 2-4 & 6-8, Tuesday at the Funeral Home. She will be Entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials are to Riley Children''s Hospital.
