Geraldine "Honey" J. Zurbrugg, 96, of Fort Wayne, passed on Thursday, June 13, 2013 at her home. Born in New Haven she was the daughter to the late, Henry and Matilda (Werling) Hanefeld. She was a wonderful homemaker devoted to her family. She was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church.

She is survived by her three sons, Jack Zurburgg of Fort Wayne, Charles (Cheryl) Zurbrugg of Fort Wayne and Willy (Jody) Zurbrugg of Monroeville; two daughters, Joyce Kennedy of the Portland, Oregon area and Cynthia (Rick) Ramsey of Fort Wayne; one brother, Kenneth Hanefeld of Fort Wayne; 11 grandchildren, Rick (Jean) Ramsey, Jody (Norm) Resor, Dean (Anne) Kennedy, Brain Kennedy, Debbie, Kennedy, Paul Zurbrugg, Andy Zurbrugg, Ben Zurbrugg, Nathan (Rebekah) Zurbrugg, Sandy (Trent) Everhart and Weston Zurbrugg; 11 great grandchildren, Taylor Ramsey, Haley Ramsey, Brennon Ramsey, Annie (Ben Stark) Resor, Abby (Dan Stark) Resor, Samantha Kennedy, Alexander Kennedy, Aelia Zurbrugg, Faith Everhart, Lainey Everhart and Siriah Everhart; and 3 great great grandchildren, Lincoln Stark, Amelia Stark and Max Stark.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 50 years, Merle W. Zurbrugg, in 1986; grandson, Darren Kennedy; three brothers, Oscar Zurbrugg, Clarence Zurbrugg and Norbert Zurbrugg; and two sisters, Henrietta Kinney and Velma Grose.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m., Monday, June 17, 2013 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling two hours prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the church.
