Gladys I. Sroufe, 70, of Fort Wayne, passed away Sunday February 8, 2009 at home. Born June 7, 1938 in White Earth, Minnesota, she had worked for Mechanics Laundry. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Sroufe; sons, James, Clifford, Craig, Leonard, Robert & David (Correena) Darling; daughters, Barbara Darling, Mary (Kent) Carpenter and Catherine Darling; sisters, Deloris Campbell and Florence Parks; sister-in-law Roberta Bellanger; 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Funeral service Wednesday 1 p.m. with calling one hour prior at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Calling also 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
