Gloria Lynn Gonzalez, 73, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2023 at home in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Helen (Ross) Johns. Gloria married Robert J. Gonzalez on September 17, 1965 and he survives. She worked as an RN at St. Joseph Hospital for 18 years. Gloria was a member of Zion Lutheran Church. She was an avid animal lover and enjoyed feeding her cats. Gloria is survived by her husband; children, Roberto (Sandra) Gonzalez and Joseph Gonzalez; sister, Cynthia (James) Roeback; 14 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by her sons, Stephen Gonzalez and Johnny Gonzalez; brother, Owen Johns; and sister, Carol Ebnit. Memorial service 1:00pm, Sunday, November 5, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with memorial visitation from 11:00am to 1:00pm prior to the service. Burial at a later date in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to Humane Fort Wayne.
