Gloria Jean McCann, 71, died Sunday April 23, 2017. She was born in Madison, WI on August 7, 1945 to the late Paul R. and Catherine I. Spangler. Gloria was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She worked for Beloit, WI Corporation for 18 years and Centennial Wireless until her retirement.

Surviving are her children, George (Jody) McCann, Jackie (Al) Hesselman, step-father, Francis Wagner, siblings, Pauline (Bill) Wentland, Mary Kay (Jim) Robinson, Dick (Lisa) Spangler, Lois (Bob) Frank, 9 grandchildren, Michael (Kristen), Sam, Kyle, and Michaela, Nathan, April, Brandon, Stephanie, Jon, 2 great-grandchildren, Brantley and Briggslee. Gloria was preceded in death by her husband Mike McCann on March 27, 2016.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m. Friday May 5, 2017 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church 10700 Aboite Center Rd. Ft. Wayne, IN 46804 with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is memorial calling Thursday May 4, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. from 4 - 6:30 p.m. with a Rosary at 6:30 p.m. Preferred memorial are to Visiting Nurse and Hospice. Inurnment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
