Gordon D. Gray, 78, died Friday, March 12, 2010 at St. Joe Hospital. The Korean Army Veteran was born in Roe, Arkansas to the late Walter and Pearl Gray. He was active in A.A. for over 38 years and a member of Local 669 for over 59 years. He was a Pipe Fitter for Shambaugh & Sons for 25 years retiring in 1993. He is survived by his loving wife of 34 years, Vivian L. Gray of Fort Wayne; sons, David (Linda) of Green Bay, Wisconsin, and Cavin (Lisa) of Fort Wayne; daughters, Shari Gray, and Dianne Ely both of Orlando, Florida; brother, Harrold Gray of Niles, Michigan.; two grandsons, Clint and Wyatt. He was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Gray. Service is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling is also from 2-4 & 6-8 Tuesday at the Funeral Home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
