Grace E. Scott, 81, passed away, Friday, January 6, 2017 at her home. Grace was born November 27, 1935 in Whitley County, IN to the late Lee and Eva Walker. She was a member of the former West Creighton Ave. Christian Church, Past Matron of O.E.S. Grace worked at Ft. Wayne National Bank for 23 years on the switch Board and then 12 years at the Tower Bank.

Surviving is her husband Richard J. Scott, and sister Stella E. Shaffer. Grace was preceded in death by her brother, Lee Walker Jr., sisters, Edna DePoy, and Gladys E. Gamble.

Funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with viewing 1 hour prior to service. Chaplain Kris McPherson will officiate. There is also viewing Monday, January 9, at the funeral home from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Burial will be in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Preferred memorial are to; Heartland Hospice or Shriner''s Hospital for Children or St. Jude Children''s Hospital.
