Graden Hurd, 84, formally of Elkhart, IN and Warsaw, IN  passed away May 30, 2021.   Born in Ivel, Kentucky, He was  the son of Isom and Worlie Hurd. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Graden was a member of Christan Center in South Bend, IN  He volunteered in Prison ministry and at nursing homes. He enjoyed playing guitar and country gospel music. He recorded his own CDs and even recorded one with his daughter, Chrystal.

He is survived by his son, Rick (Sondra) Hurd, daughters, Chrystal (Greg) Kreiger, Subrina (Parrish) Miller, Felisa (Leroy) Tennant, four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, brothers, Gary (Sandy) Hurd, Don (Cindy) Hurd and sister, Mary (James) Spencer.

He was preceded in death by his siblings, Katherine, Gordon, Lorenza, Shular, and Esta and Joe Ed.

A celebration of life will be held On Friday, June 4, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at New Hope Free Will Baptist Church 3651 N. Detroit St. Warsaw IN.  Inurnment in Stratton Cemetery,  Ivel, Kentucky.
