Gretel Denise Feller, 68, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. She was born in Honeybee, KY to the late Leamon and Dorothy Mae (Branscum) Perry. Gretel married Don Feller on June 18, 1977 and he survives. She worked as a legal assistant for most of her career, most recently for Shilts and Setlak Law Office.  Gretel enjoyed being with her family and casino trips. Above all else, she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Surviving are her children, Dustin Feller and Julie (Chris) McCormick; honorary daughter, Amanda White; grandchildren, Noah, Madalynn, Austin, Elle, and Camden; brothers, Dorman (Sharon) Perry, Lionel (Brenda) Perry, and Tim (Delania) Perry; sisters, Joyce (Lenville) Tucker and Genise (Charlie) Hanna; and sister-in-law, Pat Perry. Gretel was also preceded in death by her brother, Leamon Perry Jr. Funeral service 10:00am, Monday, January 23, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation also from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, January 22, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children. Burial in Prospect Cemetery, 760 W. 900 N. Uniondale, IN 46791. A celebration of life gathering will follow immediately after at Lighted Gardens, 10794 N. State Road 1, Ossian, IN.
