Harold Edwin Bebout, 79, of Fort Wayne, died on Tuesday, May 8, 2012 and his wife of 53 years, Starr Astrid (Magner) Bebout, 74, died on Sunday, May 13, 2012 from a tragic car accident.

Harold was born in Salem, Kentucky to the late Herbert and Linnie (Ramage) Bebout. The Army veteran retired from Stockberger Machinery after 23 years of service. Starr was born in Fort Wayne, to the late Albert and Margaret (Prine) Magner. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and a wonderful homemaker. They married on February 14, 1959.

Harold and Starr are survived by their sons, Albert (Kelly) of Panama City, Florida, Ken (Kim) and Eric (Lisa) both of Fort Wayne; their daughters, Vicky (David) Koch, Margaret (Scott) Sorgen, Amber (Dan Scheerer) Herndon all of Fort Wayne; Harold''s only brother, Randall (Glenda) Bebout; Starr''s only sister, Ellen (Pete) Helmer; 14 grandchildren; and 7 great grand children.

Memorial Visitation for Harold and Starr is 4 to 8 p.m., Monday, May 21, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. Private services were already held for the family and then they were laid to rest at Prairie Grove Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials are to Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home.
