Harriett S. Boggs, 83, passed peacefully with her family by her side. She was the daughter of the late Rod and Ruth (Fair) Snyder. She was a member of the Community of Hope Grace Brethren Church. "Harriett was a devoted, loving and kind wife, mother and grandmother; she will be missed dearly by all."

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Rick) Hatfield; son, James Boggs; sister, Diane (Ardle) Page; brother in law, Stewart Kramer; grandchildren, Melany (Michael) Love, Jessica (Johnson) Estep and Cody Hatfield; and the sparkles in her eyes her great grandchildren, Endymion, Bastian, Caspian, Estara, Eldarian and Alastair.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, J.D. Boggs, in 2006; sisters, Barbara Kramer.

Funeral Service is 11 a.m., Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorial are to MDA or American Cancer Society.
