Hassie Hilton, 89, of Grabill, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2011 at Parkview Hospital. Born in Chenoa, Kentucky, she was the daughter to the late Thomas and Martha Vaughn. She was a loving, nurturing mother, grandmother and great grandmother, who also enjoyed her job as a nurse''s aid. She was a member of Crossview Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Michael) Topp of Leo; granddaughters, Michelle (Brad) Rariden and Stephanie (Dennis) Riggers; three great grandchildren, Austin, Savanna, Michael.
She was preceded in by her first husband, James O. Byrge, in 1967 and then her second husband, Herman L. Hilton, in 1977; two brothers and eight sisters.
Service is 11 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials are to the family.
