Hazel E. Leichty, 71, died Sunday February 8, 2015. She was born May 9, 1943 in Wooster, OH to the late John and Erma Imhoff. Hazel was a Field Service Coordinator for Power Wheels for 17 years. She enjoyed worshipping at Fellowship Missionary Church, Emmanuel Community Church and First Mennonite Church.

Hazel loved the Lord, adored her husband of 50 years, her kids and grandchildren. She and Russell never missed one of "her boys" basketball games. She was their biggest fan. She enjoyed reading to her grandkids and was so proud of each and every one of them. She was a very intelligent lady, an avid reader, and enjoyed her gospel music and completing crossword puzzles. Hazel will be greatly missed.

Surviving are her husband Russell Leichty, sons, Jeff (Jennie), Craig (Laura), Chad (Trish) Leichty, siblings Maurice (Joan) Imhoff, Dorothy Otto, Ray (Becky) Imhoff, Norma (Jim) Trotter, grandchildren, Josh (Amber), Emilee, Andrew, Mallory, Leena, Tyler, Brad, Lacy, and Cali.

Service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 13, 2015 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 1 hour prior to service. There will also be calling at the funeral home Thursday February 12, from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8. In lieu of flowers please honor Hazel''s passion for Christian education. Direct memorials to; Lakewood Park Christian, Blackhawk Christian, or Westminster Christian Schools. Entombment will be in Covington Memorial Gardens.
