Helen S. Dickey, 92, passed on Monday, January 4, 2016. Helen was born January 28, 1923 in Fort Wayne; she was the daughter to the late, John and Angeline Nickrash. She graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1941. She had worked for General Electric during World War II and was a homemaker. She married Ervin G. Dickey on March 2, 1946 he preceded her in death in 1988. She was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.

She leaves behind her children, Deborah Dickey and Alan Dickey both of Fort Wayne; and several nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her siblings; and her beloved godson, John P. Conville, in 2011.

Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, 1122 South Clinton St., with calling 30 minutes prior. Officiating will be Msgr. Robert C. Schulte. Calling is also 5-8 p.m., with a prayer service at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covignton Road. She will be laid to rest at Catholic Cemetery. Preferred memorials are to masses or the Cathedral Preservation Fund.
