HENRY "HANK" DITTON, 85, of Yoder, passed away Friday, Feb. 27, 2009, at Lutheran Hospital. Hank was born Aug. 18, 1923, in Fort Wayne, the son of the late Louis George Sr. and Christine (Brockmeyer) Ditton. A WWII Army veteran, he was the owner and operator of Hank's Gulf and Hank's 76 Service Station. Hank is survived by his wife, Hazel; sons, Richard of Kildeer, Ill. and David (Deborah) of Churubusco; grandchildren, Christopher, Benjamin, Sarah, Jeffrey and Emily Ditton, David, Andrew, and Elizabeth Pranger; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his son Donald "Don"; brothers, Clarence and Louis Jr. Ditton; and sisters, Eleanor Brumbaugh and Mary Lou Barhydt. Funeral service will be Tuesday March 3 at 12 noon at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd with calling two hours prior.
