Hildegard Stadelmayer, 89, of Fort Wayne passed away Friday, March 26, 2021 at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.  Hildegard was born March 12, 1932 in Germany a daughter of the late William and Emma (Mueller) Abram.  She attended The Chapel.  Previously she was a member of Sherman Street Church of God.  She had been employed with the Wayne Knitting Mill, Morrill Motors, Inc., and Northrop High School.  Surviving is her daughter, Rosi (Maurice) Byall; son, Robert (Alana) Stadelmayer; grandchildren, Troy (Erica) Byall; Nicholas Byall; Jakob Stadelmayer; and Brittany Stadelmayer; great-grandchildren, Blake; Maggie; and James.  Hildegard was preceded in death by her husband, Jakob Stadelmayer; sister, Marta Elgert; and brother, Gus Abram.  Funeral service is 3:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with visitation from 1:00 PM until time of service.  Burial will follow in Covington Memorial Gardens.  Memorial donations may be made to Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
