Hobart "Hobie" Lynn Griffin, 72, passed Monday, March 19, 2018 at home surrounded by family.  Born in Auburn, he was a son to the late Ray Ivan Griffin and Gladys Irene (Eggler) Griffin.  Hobie proudly served his country in the Army.  He worked in maintenance at Bennets Mfg., Summit and Allen Dairy.  There was nothing Hobie couldn't fix.

Hobie is survived by his wife, Teresa Kay (Blazer) Griffin of Fort Wayne; children, Troy Griffin, Jason (Roxie) Griffin, Jessica Smith, James Fisher all of Fort Wayne and Shawn (Tonya) Fisher of New Haven; 6 grandchildren, Cassius, Alyssa, Dawson, Charles, Ethan and Allister; and brothers, Clay and Ivan.

Hobart was preceded in death by two brothers, Allen Griffin and Norman Griffin.

Graveside Service is 2 p.m., Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, with military honors.
