HOLLY ANN WOODS, 80, died on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2013, at her home. Born Dec. 13, 1932, in Garrett, she was a daughter of the late Hollis and Dorothy Breece. She graduated as Salutatorian of the Central High School Class of 1950. She retired from Dana Off Highway Axle Division. After retirement, she volunteered at Lincoln Museum and Dupont Hospital. She was a member of Christ''s Hope Ministries and Church, Women of Hope, Star of the East Chapter 514 Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile and other Masonic organizations, holding various offices. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society. She was Past President of Bloomingdale PTA, Franklin Jr. High PTA, and North Side High School PTSA.

Surviving are her children, Timothy Woods, Barbara Woods and Jennifer Nicholson; sister, Mary Sprunger; grandchildren, Michelle (Chad) Monize and Robert Todd (Micah) Nicholson; great-grandchildren, Luke, Drew, Evan, Gabe, and Maya Monize, Grace and Isaiah Nicholson; as well as a host of nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Leonard "Bud" Woods, in 2009; a great-grandchild, Jacob Michael Nicholson; son-in-law, Robert L. Nicholson; and brother, Paul E. Breece.

Service is 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior to service. Calling also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6, 2013, at the funeral home, with a Daughters of the Nile service at 7:30 p.m. and a Twilight service by the Eastern Star at 7:45 p.m. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
