Irene Rose Botz, 94, went to Heaven Thursday, August 29, 2019.  She was born in South Bend, Indiana. She was a daughter to the late John and Sarah (Cross) Keirns. She was a wonderful homemaker for her family and devoted christian.  She not only was an active member of the Baptist church her whole life but was also active volunteer.  She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Irene is survived by daughter, Sharon (RJ) Dominic of Ocean View, Delaware; son, Kermit (Linda) Botz of Noblesville, Indiana; grandchildren, Brian (Laura) Dominic, Keith (Kelly) Dominic; great grandchildren, Ella, Blake, Mason, Connor all of Maryland; and a sister, Jean Bailey of Auburn, Indiana.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Eugene George Botz, in 1996; daughter, Regina Sue Sarrazine; siblings, Pauline Gray, Margaret Hight, Betty Koithan, Velma Amburgey.

Funeral Service is 1:00 p.m., Tuesday September 3, 2019 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, the family will receive friends 11-1 prior to Funeral.   Officiating will be Pastor Mike Harris.  She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.  Prefered memorials are to Calvary Baptist Church,  7810 St Joe Center Road, Fort Wayne, IN  46815 c/o Irene Botz Memory.
