Irene Jones, 87 of Fort Wayne, IN passed away on May 9, 2023. She was born in Fort Wayne, IN on May 25, 1935, a daughter of the late Austin and Anna Winchester.
She worked as a route driver for McJohn's Photo before her retirement. She was a past member of the Eagles, New Haven, IN and The Navy Club. In her spare time she enjoyed doing puzzles, flowers and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Russell Noble Jr., Shelba Hastreiter, Robert (Tina) Noble, George (Dawn) Noble Sr., Frank Noble and Karen Heinkel; a plethora of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister Carol Rice.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Jones; son, John Noble; siblings, Norman Winchester, Juanita Fletcher, Henry Winchester, Vernon Winchester, LeRoy Winchester, Mary Williams.
Funeral service will be held at 10 am on Tuesday, May 16, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd., Ft. Wayne, IN 46804, with calling one hour prior.
Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 pm on Monday, May 15, 2023 also at the funeral home.
Burial will take place in Covington Memorial Gardens, Ft. Wayne, IN.
