Isaac Mauree Lifsey, 97, died Friday, November 4, 2016 in Fort Wayne. He was born in Cedar Grove, Tennessee, a son to the late Carl Edwin Lifsey and Effie Bell (Pritchard) Lifesy. Issac was the owner Lifsey''s Grocery Store, in Huntington, Tennessee. He then retired from Firestone. He was a member of East Allen County Church of Christ.

He is survived by son, Richard (Linda) Lifsey of VanWert. Ohio; daughter, Linda (Don) Golden of Menominee, Michigan; four grandchildren, Perry ( Karin) Lifsey, Jamie (Gayle) Lifsey, Gregg (Lisa) Richards and Steve (Lindsay) Richards 12 great grandchildren, Jesse, Jasmine, Mark, Dakota, Alyssa, Abigale, Jarret, Aidan, Gavin, Melia, Gianna and Vincent ; and three great great granddaughters, Rayne, Mariana and Alice;and his sister, Frances Robinson of Atwood, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mattie Emily (Gregg) Lifsey, in 2004; grandson, Dean Lifsey; and a brother, J.W. Lifsey.

Funeral service is 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 7, 2016 at Covington Memorial Gardens, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 2-6 p.m., Sunday, November 6, 2016 at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the church.
