Jack C. Zurbrugg, 83, of Fort Wayne passed away peacefully December 30.  He was born December 13, 1938 in New Haven, Indiana to the late Merle and Geraldine (Hanefeld) Zurbrugg.

Jack graduated from Concordia Lutheran High School and joined the Army.  After his time was up as a soldier, he went to work for Zollner Piston, where he retired after 34 years.  Jack never married, but spent his time working on his record collection and enjoying stock car racing.  He was his parents' caretaker as well, living with them so he could be with them whenever they needed him.

Jack is survived by his siblings, Joyce Kennedy, Cindy (Rick) Ramsey, Willie (Jody) Zurbrugg, and Charles (Cheryl) Zurbrugg; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, David Kennedy.

Visitation for Jack will be from 10:00am - 11:00am Tuesday, January 4 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN  46804, with service to follow at 11:00am
