Jackie Lee Seitz 80 died Sunday July 3, 2011 at the Lutheran Hospital. Born March 27, 1931 in Fort Wayne to the late Leo and Nona Seitz. Jackie was a Teamster Local # 414 truck driver for 30 plus years. Jackie was an avid poker player and golfer. He was a member of Eagles, and past Post Commander for American Legion # 82 1998- 2004. Surviving is his wife, Phyllis Seitz, Ft. Wayne, IN, sons Rickie (Kathy Keel) Seitz, Ft. Wayne, IN, Avery (Joy) Overbay, Jacksonville, FL, daughter, Theresa (Don) Metzger, Indianapolis, IN, brother, Leo, sisters, Norma and Barbara, 9 grandchildren, Marshall, Andrew (Ashley), Shanon (Brandy), Jason, Jamie, Sherrie, Michael, Robert, Tessea, 12 great-grandchildren, Dylan, Miranda, Samantha, Jason, Kyle, Brittny, Jasmine, Josh, Landon, Lucas, Nichole, Robert II and 1 great-great-granddaughter, Isabella. Jackie was preceded in death by his first wife Gwendolyn Seitz, in 1994 and daughter Cheryl Seitz. Services are 11 a.m. Friday July 8, 2011 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. with calling 30 minutes prior to service. There is also calling Thursday 2-4 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Pastor Nick Hoot officiating. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
