Jackie Shanks, 75, passed away on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Parkview Regional Hospital in Fort Wayne, IN. Born in Fort Wayne, IN, Jackie was a daughter of the late Harley and Betty (Mueller) Shanks. She worked at Cintas as a seamstress for 17 years, until her retirement. Jackie enjoyed working outside and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Meisha (James) Wimes, Melissa (Matt) Langston and Zoe Shanks; brothers, Rick Shanks; sisters, Connie (Dan) Harris and Vickie Lynn (Gene) Bolinger; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and her beloved Yorkie, Micha Ray. Celebration of life gathering will be held on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
