Jacob "Jake" Crawford, 34, passed away on January 11, 2023. He was born in Fort Wayne, IN on March 19, 1988, a son of Steven Crawford and Sherri Crawford.

Jake graduated from Homestead High School in 2007 and went on to obtain his bachelor's degree from IU in 2012. He was an avid reader, especially enjoying history and philosophy.

He is survived by his father, Steven Crawford; mother, Sherri Crawford; three uncles, John, David and Richard Crawford; and grandmother, Carol Gillum; and beloved dog, Cassie.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronny Gillum; and grandparents James and Carolyn Crawford.

Memorial visitation will be held from 1 pm to 5 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8404 Covington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46814.
