James Russell Allen, 77, formerly of Fort Wayne, passed Friday, March 27, 2020 peacefully at home in Los Fresnos, Texas.  He was born in Sullivan County, Indiana, to the late Loren Allen and Helen (Trueblood) Allen.  James retired from United Technologies.

James is survived by second wife, Marilyn (Loeffler) Reinke-Allen; daughter, Carla S. (Steve) Basham of Fishers; step children, Ronald (Lisa) Reinke and Barb (Ed) Hambrock; grandchildren, Amanda Basham, Logan Basham, Elizabeth (Brent) Bejot, Andrew (Casey) Hambrock, Katherine and Shelby; and great grandchildren, Braeden, Oliver, Joey Aiden and Adalynn.

James was preceded in death by his first wife, Sandra J (Spore) Allen; and brothers, Tom Allen and Don Allen.

James was laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
