James Elroy Clark, 68, of Fort Wayne, Indiana, passed away peacefully on October 9, 2025.  He was born on March 17, 1957, in Toledo, Ohio to the late Ralph Clark and Betty Mae Havens.

James Married the love of his life, Julie (Wright) Clark 44 years ago.  He worked as a diesel mechanic, maintaining the buses for Fort Wayne Community Schools all his life.  He greatly enjoyed working in the mechanical field; it was his life's calling.  He also had a great love of trains.  One of the most important things to him was spending time with his children and grandchildren, taking family vacations.

Surviving is his wife Julie (Wright) Clark; children, Christal (Sean) Mills, Matthew (Megan) Clark, Andrew (Heather) Clark, and Jason Clark; and grandchildren, Morgan, Kelsie, Sydney, Jordan, Gage, Piper, and Ryder.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home. A funeral service will take place at 1:00 pm.  Burial will take place at Covington Memorial Gardens following services.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in James' memory to the Fort Wayne Zoo.
