James A. Jackson, 87, of Fort Wayne, died Saturday September 2, 2006 at Regency Place. He was born November 17, 1918 in Clinton, IN and was WWII Army Air Corp veteran. He was a retired truck driver from Indian Head Trucking. and was a member of Elmhurst Nazarene Church where he was involved with Working Witness Mission Trips. He is survived by sons, Russell (Sherry) Jackson of Kimmell and Dr. J. Phillip (Laura) Jackson of Fort Wayne; daughters, Delores Landis of Fort Worth, TX and Mary (Daniel) Sickley of Fort Wayne; a sister, Doris of Fort Wayne; 20 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. Funeral services 11a.m. Wednesday with visitation one hour prior at Elmhurst Church of the Nazarene 2951 Sand Point Rd.. Visitation also Tuesday 4-8 p.m. at Covington Memorial Funeral Home 8408 Covington Rd. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
