James "Jim" Franklin Wolfcale, 75, died on, Monday, August 3, 2015. Born in Fort Wayne, he is the son of the late, Glenn and Estella (Sorg) Wolfcale. Jim is a devoted and active member of Hope Lutheran Church of Coesse. Jim retired from GTE in 1988; and then drove bus for SWAC Schools till 1994. Jim and his wife, Patty spent many years wintering in Arizona, traveling, he loved spending time with his family and fishing.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Patty Jo (George) Wolfcale; sons, Stephen (Dawn) of DePree, Wisconsin and Daniel (Kay Donna) of Claude, Texas; brother, Thomas (Sandy) Wolfcale of Fort Wayne; sisters-in-law, Linda (Jack) Christen of Merrillville, Tennessee and Jean (Dave) Fry of Fort Wayne; brother-in-law, Larry Miller of Fort Wayne; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Austin, Ryder, Slater and Cannon; and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by sister, Ruth Harriet Motley and sister-in-law, Valerie Miller.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 7, 2015 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling one hour prior. Calling is also 1-3 & 6-8 p.m., Thursday, August 6, 2015 at the funeral home. He will be entombed at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to the church.
