James Lee Lovellette, 62, of Bluffton, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at home, with his family by his side. Born November 10, 1949 in Decatur, he was the son of the late Harry and Pearl (Fuelling) Lovellete. He retired from Perfection Bakery after 38 years of service. He loved fishing, hunting, karaoke and remodeling.
He is survived by his wife, whom he married in 1967, Sandra "Peachy" (Dillion) Lovellette; sons and daughter in law, Scott and Michele Lovellette and Samuel Lovellette both of Bluffton; three grandsons, Daniel, Justin and Tyler; one great grandson, James Lee; sisters, Susie (John) Nuttle of Ossian, Bonnie Dabbs, Patricia and Rosie Lovellette all of Fort Wayne; and brothers, Robert of Decatur, Donald (Neil) of Syracuse and Ronald (Patricia) Roanoke; and his best friend, John Heenan of Fort Wayne.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Sally; and a brother, Melvin.
Funeral Service is 7 p.m., Friday, October 5, 2012 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with calling also Friday 1-3 and 5-7 prior to the service. He will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens.
