Obituary
James Earl Mabe, 61, passed away on Friday, July, 30, 2021 surrounded by family. Born in Fort Wayne, IN. James graduated from Elmhurst High School in Fort Wayne, IN, and retired from the United States Army. He is a member of the Waynedale American Legion Post 241.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Mabe, Mother, Susie Mabe, daughters, Jennifer (Justin) Wilson, Krysta ( Mark) Young, Alyssa (Zach) Herbst, Tara Ireland, sons, Justin Mabe, Aaron (Alexa) Harter, sisters, Lorena Mabe, Jeanette (Scott) Schmidt, Jonna (Phil) Freeman and Denise (Dave) Conner, brother, Jason Mabe and twelve grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, John Mabe.
Funeral service is 11:00 a.m. Thursday, August, 5, 2021 with calling from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior, calling is Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 5:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. At Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, He will be interred at Covington Memorial Gardens.
