James E. Mendenhall 61 died Tuesday at Hospice Home. Born in Ft. Wayne he lived in Roanoke and worked as Fleet Supervisor for G.T.E. for 8 years. Surviving are his wife Sue Mendenhall, Ft. Wayne, sons, Lanny and James Mendenhall, Ft. Wayne, grandchildren, Corey and Gina, brothers, Dale, Rex and Don, sister, Mary, sister-in-law, Stacy Mendenhall. His parents, John and Betty Mendenhall and a brother, Carl preceded him in death. Services are 1:30 p.m. Thursday November 18 at Covington Memorial Funeral Home with calling 3 hours prior to service.
