James Warren Turner, 85, passed away Saturday September 2, 2017. He was born December 17, 1931 in Bradenton, FL to the late Kimble and Marguarite Turner. James enlisted into the Navy and proudly served his country for 20 years in the military and then finally retired from Magnavox after 20 years of service. He is a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. James was an avid bowler, usually playing three different leagues''; he loved his family especially the grandchildren and of course his furry friend, Graci.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 16 years, Donna Catherine (Baltes) Turner, children, Richard (Karren) Turner, Dawn (John) Cuellar, and Lisa (Brian) Moore, 5 grandchildren, Marsha Mack, Christopher Turner, Angela Blaylock, Jenna Moore and Brandon Duff; seven great-grandchildren, Anna Turner, Destiny, Karen, Hope and Kelly Blaylock, Preston and Courtney Duff and sister-in-law Kim; son in law, Duiane Karnes.
He was preceded in death by his first wife Lorretta Turner and his daughter Karen Karnes; son Robert Turner and only brother, Kimble Turner Jr.
Honoring James request a private family service will be held. He was laid to rest in Catholic Cemetery with military honors. Preferred memorials are to the Alzheimer''s Association or Visiting Nurse Hospice Home.
