Jane Ellen Neiger, 60, of Fort Wayne, IN passed away peacefully with her children by her side on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at Parkview Hospital. While we are brokenhearted we take comfort in knowing she is free from pain.

Jane was full of life--silly, funny, and genuine. She was welcoming to everyone she met--treating people with kindness and openness no matter their story. Jane loved gathering with family and playing board games with her four grandchildren. She usually let them win.

Jane was born April 1, 1961, in Fort Wayne, IN, to Paul and Carolyn Feichter. She is survived by her two children, Jonathan Neiger and Sarah (Wes) Gaines, along with her four beloved grandchildren; Cash, Story, Leland, and Maple Gaines. She is also survived by her brother John (Betsy) Feichter and sister Beth Feichter.

Jane was preceded in death by her brother, Brian Feichter, and by her parents, Paul and Carolyn Feichter. She missed them dearly, and we find peace in thinking of them reunited.

A private, family memorial service will be held at Covington Memorial Funeral Home.
