Jane Elizabeth Osborne, 67, of Fort Wayne died on Wednesday August 19, 2009 at the Lutheran Hospital. She graduated from the Lutheran Hospital School of Nursing and worked at Lutheran Hospital. During her time as Head Nurse of the Cardiac Telemetry, Jane was instrumental in the development of Lutheran Hospital''s Cardiac Transplant Program. She was a member of First Mennonite Church. Surviving are her son, Brent (Rachel) Osborne of Fort Wayne; brother, Dale Osborne of California; sisters, Sharon Osborne-Powell (Bill) of Maryland and Irene (Ed) Weaver of Michigan; and two grandsons, Evan and William Osborne, both of Fort Wayne. Service is 11 a.m. Monday August 24, 2009 at the First Mennonite Church 1213 St. Mary''s Ave. with calling 1 hour prior to service. Calling also from 2-6 p.m. Sunday August 23, 2009 at the Covington Memorial Funeral Home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
