Janet Rose (Hensinger) Hause, 63, of Fort Wayne, passed Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was a wonderful homemaker; always keeping her hands busy, she loved to garden and decorate and she had volunteered at the American Legion.

She is survived by her husband of 44 years, William "Bill" Allan Hause of Fort Wayne; mother, Dorothy M. (Litchfield) Hensinger; sisters, Jeanne (Harold) Gunkel of Leesburg, Carol (Randy) Arnold, Peggy (Larry) Early and Linda (Harley) Herron all of Fort Wayne; brother, Ron (Cindy) Hensinger of Texas, Steve (Phyllis) Hensinger and Tom (Sheryl) Hensinger all of Fort Wayne; several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Daniel J. Hensinger; sisters, Kathy Wallace and Mary Catherine Gunkel; and brother, Kenneth Hensinger.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 1500 West State Blvd., with calling one hour prior. Officiating will be Fr. AJay Tiru. Calling is also 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., Monday, May 22, 2017 at Covington Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road. She will be laid to rest at Covington Memorial Gardens. Preferred memorials are to Masses or the Church.
