Janice Elaine Holt-Sparks, 86, passed peacefully, on Monday, August 25, 2014 at home with her family. She was born in Muncie, the only child of the late DeVoe Gates and Crystal (Ammon) Gates. She graduated from Marion Central High school. After her graduation she worked in the office at the high school until she married her high school sweetheart. Janice then became an at home mother raising their family in Muncie. In later years she worked for Dr. Ted Doles in his office until her retirement. She then moved to the Fort Wayne area. She was a member of the Chapel.

She is survived by her daughter, Karen (Brad) Campbell of Fort Wayne; son, David Holt of Muncie; four grandchildren, Tyler (Clorisa) Campbell, Travis Campbell, Kristina and Damien; and one sweet great granddaughter, Makalyla.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Donald Holt; second husband, Paul Sparks; and sons, Ron and Jimmy Holt.

Memorial Service is 11 a.m., Saturday, September 6, 2014 at The Chapel, 2505 West Hamilton Road, with a gathering 30 min prior. Preferred memorials are to Visiting Nurse.
