Janice R. Gunder, 73, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2007 at Parkview Hospital. The Fort Wayne native was a homemaker and attended Lighthouse Free Methodist Church. She was President of the Central High School Alumni Association; President of the CHS Class of 1952 Reunion Committee; Past-president of the Fort Wayne Council P.T.A. and formerly served as the Choir Director at Robinson Chapel for over 20 years. She is survived by her husband, Jerry T. Gunder; daughters, Renee'' (Dennis) Smith of Roanoke, Colleen (Frederick) Truden of Elk Grove, CA, Rhonda (Michael) Jennings of Bluffton and Janine (Shawn) Moriarity of Monroeville; brothers, Jack (Donna) Gahan of Ft Wayne and Bill (Rhonda) Pasko of Roanoke; sister, Margaret Drake of Marion; grandchildren, Jeremy (Jennifer) Smith of Ft Wayne, Eric Smith of Boynton Beach, FL, Marietta Moriarity of Ft Wayne, Zebediah Moriarity of Monroeville, Joshua Jennings and Kristen Jennings, both of Bluffton; and her great-grandchild, Camren Moriarity-Huhn. She was preceded in death by her mother, Imogene Pasko; sisters, Geraldine Bump, Darlene Gahan and Phyllis Reeves, and her brother, Robert Gahan. Funeral Services 1:00PM Wednesday at Aboite Lutheran Church, 11312 Aboite Center Rd. with calling one hour before services. Calling also from 2-5 & 7-9 PM Tuesday at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Rd. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. The family''s preferred memorial is the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
